We aim to run practical projects that prepare for and mitigate against climate change and peak oil. Initially, we'll be focusing on green space and food growing projects alongside making links with other groups in the area.

Next meeting

Last week we decided to start meeting more regularly so the next Transition West End meeting will be on December 10th at 6.30 in Offshore cafe on Gibson Street.

Among other things, we'll be discussing community growing, doing a mapping exercise of existing growing projects and setting up a food co-op. As always, new members are welcome.
